All my photography workshops give children a calm, creative space to explore the world through a camera. Each session blends simple teaching with gentle guidance, helping young people build confidence, notice details, and express their ideas through images.
Workshops take place outdoors in beautiful natural spaces, where children learn composition, light, perspective and storytelling through
fun challenges and hands‑on practice. The atmosphere is relaxed, supportive and pressure‑free, perfect for beginners and young creatives alike.
Safety and well-being are at the heart of every session. I’m DBS‑checked, fully insured, and follow a comprehensive safeguarding framework, ensuring children can learn, explore, and enjoy photography in a safe, supervised environment.

FAQ
Does my child need a “proper” camera?
Not at all. They can bring any device they feel comfortable with, a phone, a compact camera, or a DSLR. The focus is on creativity, not equipment.
Are you DBS‑checked and insured?
Yes. I hold an Enhanced DBS check, full public liability insurance, and follow a complete safeguarding framework, including risk assessments and photography consent.
How many children are in each group?
Workshops are intentionally small, up to 10 children, so everyone gets individual support, and the atmosphere stays calm and creative.
What if my child is anxious?
These workshops are designed to be gentle, supportive and pressure‑free. Children can take part at their own pace, and there’s no competition or performance element.
What should my child bring?
A camera or phone
A drink and Lunch
Weather‑appropriate clothing that they are happy to kneel or lie down in
Comfortable shoes
Can my child use their own phone?
Yes, as long as it’s used only for photography during the workshop. We have clear online safety rules to keep everyone safe.
Will photos of my child be shared?
Only if you have given explicit consent. Consent is always respected, and children are taught to ask permission before photographing others.
Who can I contact with questions?
You can contact me anytime. I’m always happy to help.
